Well, sort of. Pablo was allowed to come home today, but must remain in isolation for several more days. They still don’t know why he was ill, but the initial illness seems to have passed.
No new pics this week as the camera flash may be too exciting for the kitty. Here’s an old picture of Ethan making Pablo acknowledge the camera.
The unbelievable amount of support I got from everyone responding to the Pablo saga left me with quite a bit of leftover cash. Would any of the contributors mind if I made a $100 gift of cat-related products to my local Humane Society? Leave a comment or email if you wish to remain anonymous.

Ack, I just donated five minutes ago after the seeing the Paypal logo and having that remind me.. But the Humane Society is a worthy place for the money to goto, too. I don’t have a problem with it.
The humane society is a great idea. Or else you could stick it away somewhere in case Pablo ever needs to go to the vet again. Kind of like a kitty medical savings account. George W. Bush would be so proud.

I’m so glad Pablo is feeling better. I had a few scares taking my cats to the vet. If you are anything like me, Pablo is one of the family. I dote on my cats.
I agree with Sally — put it away just in case. After all, if there wasn’t a real diagnosis . . . Not trying to sound too negative here, but.
I’m glad Pablo is feeling better even if he is going to have a slowish recovery. Maybe you should keep the money in a savings account at least for a while, just in case he has to go back in soon.
