Primarily I do not care for the author's gender of any blog I read. The real crux why women may not be in thr TLBEcosystem is really rather simple. This style ecosystem favours a blog pyramid scheme, where the early bloggers picked up the most links - many of which are now from dead sites. Since men picked up the blogging bug before the girls, QED.
Anyway I don't see many good female political bloggers (general politics) but I don't see any good male political bloggers either - a few of the best bloggers have a long history of working in economics or the media; maybe the best - though bias - is actually a woman (Melanie Philips).

I would rather a blog had good quality content than be populist: populist is normally an appeal for the ignorant.

My current working theory is that the "Where are the women bloggers" meme (yeah, I think it's a meme now) is really an exercise in meta-trolling, designed to bring up the poster's hit counts. Post it, and they will come!

According to my spiritual leader - "women are the main element of life" - everything revolves around us but women on the spiritual path do not have to actually do anything - it's their positive thoughts that move mountains. I hope you'll come check out my new blog http://kabbalah4women.blogspot.com/

Calm Down, Ladies. Let Me Handle This.
Well, I think women speaking their mind is adorable. The only type of weblog post more abjectly useless than a "What has become of The Left?" post is the "Where have all the female bloggers gone? Long time passing"...

A few other women bloggers have voiced their opinions about that every-90-days "where are the women bloggers" question, this time posed by Kevin Drum. While we can't make the big boys link to us, I agree with Ilyka Damen (link

I'd hold my breath, but I'm not up for suicide tonight...
