Not exactly a comment on this post but -- I thought all y'all would be interested in taking a look at an ad put out by Bell Telephone in Canada. It's causing a bit of a wave -- let's make it a tsunmai. See it at www.ntlu.blogspot.com. I know I'm not the only one who thinks it's anti-deluvian but I'm anxious to have my sense it is one of the worst things to come out of mainstream advertising ever confirmed. Thoughts?

Speaking of specious surveys, I thought I'd take a second to try to hijack some of your intelligent, informed readers (and flatter them into helping me out, too).

If you have an opinion about working mothers, or something to say about how society views working mothers today, please pop by my blog and answer the question on my post today. This isn't a ruse to just try to get more readers but an attempt to do a survey that will perhaps make it into my dissertation in progress, so I'm sure Lauren will forgive me the thread-jack. Go answer my question, and then come back her to Lauren's much more political and better written blog than mine. http://kimwells.blogspot.com/
