Hey, if the Circle Jerks and Debbie Gibson can team up to cover the Soft Boys’ “I Wanna Destroy You”, maybe there’s hope for a Fugazi/Britney collaboration in the future, Sally.

2. Down the Road — Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs
3. Trouble No More — Muddy Waters
4. Options R — Wire

I admit, I cheat at times. If I hit shuffle and a bunch of heavy metal and stoner rock crap that my boyfriend has loaded the player comes up, I hit reshuffle. This isn’t to reflect the sorry taste of the over-testosteroned. (Kidding, guys. I don’t blame The Penis for stoner rock. I blame Satan.)

1) “I Believe to My Soul”–Ray Charles
2) “Be My Guru”–The Hoodoo Gurus
3) “Voodoo Lady”–Ween

8) “Hey Hey Ha Ha”–Crazy Girls
9) “I Don’t Want to Go to Chelsea”–Elvis Costello
10) “Hit It Run”–Run DMC
