I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw these photos; his lens captured the ladies' blend of assertiveness and vulnerability so wonderfully. I was reminded of the Venus of Willendorf, of goddess sculptures all round and full and sensuous and beautiful. These women's bodies, their confidence, their love for themselves and pride in who they are, these women whose bodies are so similar to my own, and to so many women I know -- this is what I think of when I think of Beauty.
