Women Kossacks

The women disgruntled with the dKos marginalization of liberal women have started their own sounding board free from the “frat boy” mentality that seems to rule the dKos site.

See this particularly interesting conversation on the parallels between the now-infamous dKos argument and the second wave as a splinter of disaffectation with the 1960s left.

    actually my husband studied one of the comment threads on Daily Kos for a class in Computer Mediated Discourse Analysis last semester. It turned up some interesting (but personally speaking, not surprising) stuff. He’s posted about it on his blog, Sampo. it’s a preliminary study, but i think that it does lend creedence to this particular issue.
