“Real Men” are Republicans

And Democrats are Metrosexuals. I’m not even sure where to start with this one; it seems to be partially illiterate, so I’m not going to spend too much time on it. It’s full of the usual “we’re real men” misogyny — “Hint to Democrats: Real men don’t have to be taught how to be real men, especially by women” — and even more stereotypically, that insult to end all insults — Democrats are FRENCH!:

The Democrat party has journeyed from the Ranch to the Rive Gauche, from Paris, Texas to Paris, France and they are trying to take America with them.

Also, Democrats are total homos, and even women are more manly than them — “it looks like their candidates for president would be more appropriate vying for a Tony Award than for the position of Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. Margaret Thatcher was a Real Woman, meaning that she was more of a Real Man then either Gore or Kerry, or even Clinton.”

But my favorite part was his quite logical defense of Karl Rove:

Real Men respect themselves and they respect others. Real Men talk straight and they do what they say they’ll do. If a Real Man gives you his word, you can take it to the bank. Example: Karl Rove did nothing wrong. I know this, because if he had, Bush would know and if he knew, Rove would be out instantly, because Bush said so.

Ok, somebody fess up. One of us “evil” feminists has hacked into that site and typed up that rant, trying to discredit Men’s News Daily, because this article’s dumb even by their standards ;D (and I’ve seen a lot of stupid crap on that site)

It is difficult for me to believe that someone would actually post such drivel and believe it. It was meant to be in a sarcastic tone right? I love the comments people are leaving.

Freeptard Propagandist writes: Democrats are total homos

Well, that’s funny. I guess the Clenis did not get the memo; and neither did the entire Republican Congress, who impeached him over his excessive heterosexuality.

Please say “Hey Sailor” to the following Democrats: the Log Cabin Republicans, Jeff Gannon, and whoever in the White House had him in for all those slumber parties; Santorum’s boy toy whose name escapes me at the moment, Spitz Channell, Ken Mehlman, Scott McClellan, Cheney’s daughter etc etc etc.

This is the same “my dick is bigger than yours” posturing that makes Hummers so popular among the Freeptard set. Of course, with the exception of mAnn Coulter, that belief on their part is just wishful thinking.

Aww, that last quote is so…adorable. How naïve must a person be in order to say, “My faith in the President is absolute and blind, any solid evidence notwithstanding”?

Real Men respect themselves and they respect others

this is about as far from a description of the leadership of the Republican party and/or the Bush administration possible. Those men show absolutely no respect for women or those who do not share their religious and/or other ideological beliefs.

Bwah! I guess they’ve forgotten how the Washington state Republicans cried and cried when their guy lost the governor’s race there. Or maybe that’s their ‘metrosexual’ wing.

    Bush Backpedals, Loses Manliness

Anybody not see this coming? Just last year Bush said that he would fire anyone in his administration found to have been responsible for leaking information about Valerie Plame’s identity. Well, now he’s added a qualifier to that statement…

Apparently real men are fucking gullible.

I enjoy red wine, baguettes and Parisian art so I guess I’m not a real man. Then again, who wants to be a real man if that involves misogyny, homophobia and chickenhawk pro-war ideology.

“Stolid, stony silence”? Funny. I didn’t see much of that in the American response to what happened in London. And all our Repub administration could do was run around and tear their collective hair out and turn the terra warning up a few notches. For shame.

Oh, and I’m from the South, and I enjoy beer and barbecue and potato chips. Does that make me a bad Democrat? I hate it when Republicans try to dictate what is “authentic” and what isn’t.

Men’s News Daily is getting more and more like the Weekly World News every day. By this time next year they’ll be posting articles about how Batboy’s babymama gave his kids Parental Alienation Syndrome.
