Thanks for the link, Lauren. When I was in my 20s I didn’t want kids. I have one now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Still, I can understand where those who choose to be childless come from. I have a lot of differing points of view about parenting and motherhood.

I’d rather have web traffic than kids, Lauren, so thanks for sending me a bunch of the first and none of the second.

Wait. On second thought, Ethan can come visit whenever he wants. He’s just cool.

Thanks, Lauren. I’m glad you liked the tagline that Johnson inspired. If there’s one thing that really bugs me, it’s blatant historical revisionism.

By the way, I think this is my third Feministe weekend link in a row! That reminds me: I think I’m late on the latest bribery installment. Good thing you don’t have a “collections agent” here in Bloomington.

I don’t get the MRA whine that women are all lying, sperm-stealing bitches who want their sperm. If they are so sure that every woman they meet wants to sneak off with their genetic material, what exactly is stopping them from using condoms?

I’m really stifling the urge to say it’s probably the fear that the condoms will be loose and there may be laughter. And I failed.
