Welcome zuzu (from a fellow anonymous lawyer-blogger)! I wasn’t sure what my focus would be when I started blogging either but I have found that I keep coming back to particular issues. Your particular interests will become more obvious as you go along.
Yaaaaaay zuzu! Congrats on the promotion from lurking commenter to front-page-poster! Good luck, and here’s hoping for some good inspiration to get you rolling.
Welcome. Even though we don’t always agree, I like your comment posts and your civil debating style–discussion is what it’s about after all!! I’m sure you will be as good of a blogger!
I’m just happy you have pets to talk about….. I think what I might miss most about Lauren is not her wit or brilliance, but the Doug and Pablo stories…. (at least, thats what I’m telling myself)…
I think we all need to be honest about this — we have high expectations and the pressure to perform will really be significant. I know that’s a lot of pressure but Pablo and Doug set a really high standard.
Zuzu, I’ve always enjoyed your comments at my place, and am so glad you’ve come on board here. You and Jill and Mystery will, I am confident, do splendid things together.
Yes, yes they did. Though mostly I got hissing from the counsel I worked for, since he did a lot of his nastiness through phone calls and seemed not to want the people around him know when he was abusing the associates. In person, he screamed.
I’ll echo the comments of others, and note that I’ve always appreciated your comments–even, and espeically, when we may have had differing opinions. You keep it civil, but you don’t back down, and that’s a tough combination to find (…and both Jill and Lauren are able to do that too).
So, welcome, and I look forward to reading yer stuff!

I will also extend my welcome and my gladness that cats will continue to grace these pages. And also, I love me some good law commentary, so I shall look forward to that (I’m a political science major and I’m leaning toward law school after I graduate…not that any of that should matter in what you choose to focus on…)

Cute beasties! And whatever you blog about, I’m sure it’ll rock.
I think I like Sugarplum.

…Sugarplum and Zuzu would seem to have no problems with “body image”.
Cheers,
DD
Welcome Zuzu and your pets, too. We like pets. And people though less often than pets, ;).
Hurray! I’ve also enjoyed you from other boards as well!
I love critters. Cats and dogs are way better than most people, hands down.
Welcome Zuzu, looking forward to reading your posts.
Zuzu, I love you X a thousand. You’re the right mixture of a level head and sass to keep the tone consistent with how Lauren and Jill kept house.
hey, congrats, zuzu! couldn’t have happened to a nicer 37 year old resident of Brooklyn.
You sound interesting. I see something in common, I dont like being screamed at either;-)
Howdy, and congrats! I look forward to your posts!
Welcome!
Thanks for the welcome, all!
Ya!!
Sugarplum is such a fitting name! So cute and so round like my cat Spike!! Awwww…
Congrats!!

Oh yeah — welcome to feministe zuzu.

Welcome!
Zuzu: did they really “scream” at you during your tenure at big law firm? I thought they only did things like that at places like Wal-Mart.
Yes, yes they did. Though mostly I got hissing from the counsel I worked for, since he did a lot of his nastiness through phone calls and seemed not to want the people around him know when he was abusing the associates. In person, he screamed.

Plus, Zuzu likes little animals, which is always a plus in my book.
S/he’s not like that monster on here who posts about canning cats inside a pickle jar.
Welcome to the other side. Nice start.
