Julie, your list became infinitely cool when Allison Krause showed up on it. I don't think even Garth Brooks ruins it (though he comes damn close).

Sooner or later, I'll return to doing these things myownself.

Jeez, I thought that was an incredibly cool list.

1. The Seahorse Liberation Army---Play, Play, Play
2. Elf Power---Historical Ant Wars
3. Mum---Please Sing My Spring Reverb
4. The Smiths---Asleep
5. Another Sunny Day---Rio
6. The Flaming Lips---If I Go Mad/Funeral In My Head
7. Xiu Xiu---Crank Heart
8. KaitO---Driving Manual Auto
9. The Birthday Party---Junkyard (live)
10. Butthole Surfers---Dust Devil

Can I just say how much I love, love, love Dust Devil---a song about hot rods and handheld vacuums. Gibby's delivery of the line, "He's got the power of an upright in his god damn hand!" totally sells it. Like it's the most amazing invention, ever. Like, "Are you listening people? The power of an upright. In. Your. God. Damn. Hand."

3. Queen Latifah- When you're good to mama (Chcago Soundtrack)
4. Garth Brooks- Unanswered Prayers
5. Rebecca Lynn Howard- Forgive
6. Various contemporary Christian artists- I will give you all my worship
7. Ewan MacGregor and Nicole Kidman- Come what may (Moulin Rouge soundtrack)
8. Alison Krauss- When you say nothing at all
9. Third Day & Caedmon's Call- God of Wonders

Windows Media Player here at work. I started shuffling with a Real Jukebox in '98. I'm drawing from part of the CD collection, public library CD's & stuff slowly gathered from the Internet over the years. 95% of my collection is vinyl & it's suddenly dawned on me that these random tens could be actual looks into personal collections exclusively consisting of files (& maybe the odd CD one got as a present). That's much more intimate than I realized; no wonder duff tracks pop up. Should I disqualify myself?

M. Dupont - The Dinning Rooms
SMETANA: Appearance of the Comedians - Czech State Philharmonic Orchestra
Life - kissing wendy
Ode To Schadenfreude - IOVAE
I Get Lifted [Grooveblaster remix] - George McCrae
BEETHOVEN: String Quartet In C, Op.59 Nº 3 "Razumovsky" -- 4. Allegro Molto - Emerson String Quartet
Shot (in the Dark) - BPA
Everybody Wants To Live - The Beach Boys
These Foolish Things [Take 3] - Thelonious Monk
Blockhead [live] - Devo

Look who showed up for his birthday.
MOZART: Fantasia for piano in c, K. 475 - Alfred Brendel
