A Unique Take on the Weather

This animation on El Nino created from a bad paper — a real paper (sadly) — is side-splitting. See more bad papers and good animations here.

The voice should be a bit more….. Charlton Heston. IE: Menacing.

I can remember a paper a girl did in elementary school on Haiti that would fit right in with these papers.

But she did that in fifth grade, and these were at least high school. I weep for the future.

Needless to say, it didn't work and everyone died.

I can quit my job now. Jeremy has the whole "translating environmental science into lay terms" thing sewn up. It's amazing the guy is only in high school. What communication skills!

I’ve seen that paper before. There is no way that it isn’t fake, or at the least written with humor in mind. The part about how “if we had a word for that it would be ‘fisherman,’ but we don’t” should be proof enough.

Well damn. Because I genuinely like bad papers.

I think it might be more of a conglomeration of things taken from actual bad papers. I’ve heard the “fisherman” quote in a different context, but I can’t remember where off the top of my head.

I’d look it up, but I have to go see the doctor – I have been coughing and I think I may be receiving cancer.
