Since you&#039;re a law student, maybe I should ask you...why are they called &quot;briefs&quot;? (The legal documents, not the underwear) It seems to me that most of them are anything but brief. (I&#039;m half kidding here...although as a student of linguistic trivia, it does inspire my curiosity.) </description>
