But I decided that any Texans who felt that way about Bush deserved my support and therefore went out and bought their CDs. Turns out I like their music a lot, so I've kept buying it. I don't listen to country music, but as soon as the Dixie Chicks were criticized for their remarks, I bought their album and called the local radio stations asking them to play their songs. This sort of death threat insanity reveals how shaky some conservatives' philosophical foundations are. If a country singer expressing her opinion can send you over the edge, you must not have much faith in the strength of your argument. Good lord. I’m w/ a nut.
