    Yep, she went to one them thar hoidy-toidy librul colleges back East for her undergraduate thingie and one of them master education things too. I don’t know when she had time to be a real woman myself, flitting off to classes all the time instead of getting pregnant and raising chillens. I suppose she could write a book at home while suckling babies and baking bread but….

    Well no swift, see, thing is that us womens back at home depend on the enlightened words of the Great White Women from the East with white teeth (and all of them too!), two hunnerd dollar shoes and all kinds of wisdom and knowledge about how to be a woman.

    Afterall, who needs to go and make babies and serve a man? Men have been specialists on the subject for centuries, instructing women so well. I mean, its not like its work or anything.

    The upper middle classes know everything about all things important. They lead, it is for us to follow. I hope that whilst kissing her pumps at the next book signing, I don’t grasp her ankles too tightly and cause her to fall on the ground and bump her delicate little feminine head on the floor one or two or three or four times.
