Weeks of looking at evidence of the utter depravity of the human mind, not being able to unburden yourself of that weight, and then having to carry it with you. I'm grateful to the Rude Pundit for bringing that point up. And - I have to say that I sighed with relief at this verdict. I'd explain my thoughts on the death penalty (other than "against"), but I have a paper due in about 24 hours that isn't done yet!
