There were stories on the local news daily when the Cheneys bought the estate in St. Michaels. Locals were annoyed about the media attention and extra security back then, but not a peep from anyone except those neighbors having to put up with the inconveniences. Now the wingnuts want to go after kids of photographers doing their jobs? Remember when you first read <em>The Handmaid's Tale</em> and it was a scary futuristic fantasy novel and not what you fear you'll be living in five years? I live in Maryland. The sheer terror she must have feld. Terror an adult would find difficult to deal with. 2. How remarkably unselfish her parents were/are. Perhaps dad's livelihood was in jeopardy because of the enemies he'd made, but still, they made a drastic change in their lives to protect their daughter. That's great love. Two things came to mind as I read Natalia’s story.
