“Satan sees women as half his soldiers. You’re my messenger in necessity, Satan tells women you‘re my weapon to bring down any stubborn man. There are men that I fail with. But you’re the best of my weapons.”

And the other half would be…? No, couldn’t be men. Probably cats. Those pesky little soldiers of Satan, always satanically playing with balls of wool and drinking saucers of milk…

Actually I would read it as "a woman is half human and half Satan's soldier" or starts out as already being halfway to hell. It fits well with the rest of the comment about using a woman on a stubborn man, someone he's not able to budge without help. The quote would be "Satan sees women as half of his soldiers." to mean it the way you're thinking based on your comment.

I heart his "clarification."

"However the Sheikh later clarified his comments, telling the newspaper he only meant to refer to prostitutes as meat, and not any scantily clad woman without a hijab."

So if you put a rental sign on the meat and someone steals it ... no, wait, I'm still confused by the mysterious person who put the meat out in the first place. It's not the woman, because she's the meat and you can't really be both the actor and the object. It's not the rapist, because he's an innocent kitty. Are we down to blaming God for the meat's being out there? Terrible thing for a religious leader to say.

So, men have brains smaller than those of cats?

Those men apparently and it is up to the woman to protect them.

Answer: All of you is the meat.

Answer 2: Men can't be raped.

Answer 3: That would never happen because men's bodies aren't naturally tempting like women's are, and because women possess a passive sexuality and men possess an aggressive one. Can't help it, it's nature!

wait...are my breasts the meat, or is all of me the meat?

And If I grab a guy, knock him unconious, and rape him with my dildo, it's ok right? I mean, he should not have tempeted me with his sexy sexy manliness.

Actualy the worst part was where he said the judges who gave the “cats” 50 years of jail time were lacking in mercy, because it was the fault of the meat, obviously

Not to denegrate *real* cats or anything but isn't it also debasing of men to refer to them as animals with no self control?

“If you take uncovered meat and put it on the street, on the pavement, in a garden, in a park, or in the backyard, without a cover and the cats eat it, then whose fault will it be, the cats, or the uncovered meat’s? The uncovered meat is the disaster. If the meat was covered the cats wouldn’t roam around it. If the meat is inside the fridge, they won’t get it.”

Fucking WORST analogy EVER. My gawd. Nothing short of appalling. My eyes bulged about three feet out of my head when I read this for the first time. I can't seem to get over the shock of such statements.

It's gratifying to see the way this jerk's community is putting him on the curb. It looks like he's being stripped of his congregation and his cred, and run out on a rail, as well he should.
And other local leaders have already stepped up not only to call his comments on women vile, but to point out that he's casting men as animals, too. I hope they get a better imam soon.
