Go team capitalism! Wooo!

Just a thought, but is this a good idea? Most of those shirts seem to have been made in countries where workers in the garmet industry, who are predominantly women, face incredible exploitation and oppression; forced overtime, sexual harassment and the attacks on workers who try to organize are only the beginning of the problems faced. Not that there aren’t sweatshops in the USA but at least an effort to get goods from the less oppressive aspects of capitalism would be nice…

Hope this doesn’t seem to harsh. I really think this blog is awesome overall.

Eeeeeee. My girlfriend will make fun of me forever, but I am so tempted to display my fanatical loyalty through unchecked consumerism.

The “sanctimonious women’s studies set” tee would be fab on me. I’ll consider it.

I want the “Angry Fembot Army” one.

I might get that mug with the clip art. I always liked that one.

Is there a non-classic thong?

Excellent question. I don’t think so, but you’d have to take it up with the CafePress folks.

I, for one, was disappointed that the thong was the only women’s underwear choice. I’m not a big fan of thongs, but would definitely buy Feministe boy-shorts or normal panties. I blame the patriarchy for the buttfloss-only option.

Me too. I took that picture myself. The actual graffiti can be found down Freeman Ally on the LES. Just an interesting tidbit.

I love the “sanctimonious women’s studies set” quote. Nice one, Kos.

FYI, I bought a Pandagon women’s raglan hoodie and it fits really well. Decent fabric for a sweatshirt as well.

Wicked! I just have to decide which shirt to get but will certainly wear it with pride. One question though – I guess I am long-bodied or something because t-shirts always seem to be too short on me – has anyone found these to be on the short side or are they nice and long?

Thou shall know me by my ‘feministe’ sticker.

I wonder if putting them on all the company trucks would scare off potential customers. I mean, I’m not against getting the money from wingers for my own sustenance.

I had a ‘Real Women Drive Trucks’ sticker on my old diesel F-250 and hoo-boy, don’t you think I got comments ’bout that! I love that Dick and Jane girl and her gun; speaks volumes.
