The report women would have been required to file included information on past reproductive and marital history, education level, report of prenatal care etc.; fortunately this outrageous bill "died" shortly afterwards. Interesting how the impregnator has the ability to escape the consequences of his actions unless the woman speaks up. This proposal would be among the many exhibits there is little concern by the leaders of the pro-life movement for much other then keeping women in line with said people's conception of women. Maybe this law should have an amendment added to make the default father unless otherwise stated by the woman to be this legislator. Such things would be appropriate, since he wants to insert himself into these women's personal decisions. This would seem to fit in with that. The parents could get a death certificate, but not a birth certificate, and were pushing for a birth certificate as well.
