Two predictions: The democrats will be in power in 2008. And they won’t get the troops out of Iraq.

We’re going to be in Iraq for decades without some sort of drastic political sea change here in America (or economic collapse, who knows?). Look for information on our military bases and embassy being built/already built there. The embassy alone is projected to cost over $1 billion and is the size of Vatican City.

The latest non-binding resolution for troop withdrawal within 1 or 2 years sponsored by the Dems contains giant loopholes and only calls for combat troops to come home–depending on the estimates you look at, this is probably around 25-50% of all the troops over there… leaving… what? 70,000 at a minimum?

When large majorities of Americans support certain positions, I think that you should be able to win. Also democrats have controlled many states, where they could have delivered on a single payer health system.

Two predictions: The democrats will be in power in 2008. And they won’t get the troops out of Iraq.

I thought is was kinda of funny in a goofy sort of way.

And since the democrats never seem to deliver on major issues like universal health care, Iraq, ect..— they are in fact losers in my opinion.
