I think you sounded great. If anything, Sam sounded a bit tired. I liked it though, he let you talk about what you wanted to talk about.

It worked fine on my iBook (running OSX 10.3.9)– Real Player just popped up and started playing.

It was a great interview, although I’m confused by the thing about Cheney and parkas. I missed the story at the time, and am kinda oblivious as to how wearing a parka to the Holocaust Memorial would be offensive– does anyone have a link?

I don’t think you sound bumbling in the least. You certainly sounded more comfortable with the whole “interview thing” than you did when you were interviewed by NPR (though I didn’t think you sounded bumbling in that interview either).

There was, however, something you said in your interview (i.e., the notion that feminism hasn’t happened in waves) that I have to disagree with – largely because of my own experiences as a woman who came of age “between waves,” but I think that’s a long subject that I’ll have to leave for a more substantial post (after the kidlets go to bed) in my own blog (so as not to take up additional space here).

Yo Jill, respectfully, don’t badmouth yourself, that’s the trolls’ job.

What is Sam Seder doing now that The Majority Report (it was such a great show!) is over? Please let us know. Oh, and, yay for you, too, Jill. :)

I think the photo should illustrate what I was talking about.

    Yep.
