Lauren was going to wear this dress to demonstrate her undying patriotism, but it was sold out.
Yes, our dear founder is tying the knot tomorrow. And she’s wearing red, that little slut.
Go over to Faux Real Tho and wish her many congratulations. On Tuesday, we will collectively take away her feminist card for the crime of submitting to the dominant patriarchal hegemony of compulsory heterosexuality. But let’s let her enjoy herself tomorrow. Because we’re generous like that.
This one’s for you, Lauren. Let me know if it inspires you to change your wedding attire. Minus the whole, you know, death thing. Even though that’s what makes it deep.
On a less, uh, Guns n Roses note, I will probably never get married, so I give my wedding song to Ms. Lauren:
The video sucks, but I will defend Whitney to the death.
Congratulations, lady.

You did not just post November Rain in remembrance of me.
Stay in if it gets cloudy, Lauren.
And now you have a small taste of what it was like to come of age in the 80s. When people took this stuff non-ironically.
You have inspired me!! I put on November Rain and started ROCKING OUT and my boyfriend told me I’m not allowed to have November Rain as our wedding song because it would be weapons grade tacky. Sometimes he totally cramps my style. It’s not like I was asking for Paradise City or anything…
Anyway, congratulations Lauren!! I hope you end up better than the girl in the GNR video.
If I die anytime soon, I want you guys to post an N2Deep video in my honor.
Ironically, on the GNR bit, Axel Rose and Izzy Stratlin were actually from here and Axel lived within houses of us–that being Lauren and her family!! Axel was then known as Bill Bailey.
Too bad Axel was not available for tomorrow for the wedding march!!

I still feel slightly guilty because my husband wanted to have “You Shook Me All Night Long” as our first dance song and I refused. I suck.
(The DJ did play it later, and we all danced to it, including my mom.)
The best wedding band has to be that group from the movie Old School where they performed Total Eclipse of the Heart. The whole song can be found here. :)
I want that dress like I have never wanted any dress before. I don’t know where I’d wear it, but I’d find an excuse. It’s just so outrageously over-the-top horrible.
