They’re funny in such different ways, I’m not sure which I appreciate more. But I may have to go with Emmy for the sheer Enya-ness of it all.

God, when you sent me that Emmy video, I think it gave me a stomach bug. The nausea was days of work to overcome it.
Oh, I think definitely the Emmy video. She went to the Celine Dion school of overproduced and overacted videos, and I am hugely entertained by all of it. It is just so, so literal.
I love the ascot in the Jimi Blue video, so I think that’s my choice.

The Emmy video is silly but I love her clothes–especially the long red dress. And she’s so pretty!

Wow, which steaming pile of crap is smellier? I can’t watch more than 30 seconds of either. It’s stuff like this (not to mention that repellent 50-Cent rape-apologia) that has led to me not giving a squirt about music anymore. “Grumble grumble, kids today…”

The first one strikes me as a rich kid’s 8th grade English class project. It also reminds me of my 3rd level German, when my class made those Munchausen videos. Good times.
just looking at the still image for the first video, I thought it was for some old-school britney spears video. it kinda looks like her circa 19 years old.
IMDB says Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht will be 16 on December 27. His dad is a German actor, Uwe Ochsenknecht. (Ochsenknecht basically means Steward.) The whole family, including mama Natascha, brother Wilson Gonzales, and sister Cheyenne, made a movie in 2003 called the Wild Soccer Bunch.

FWIW, the Jimi Blue video struck me as more lame than disturbing, and I’m probably as prudish as any of your regular posters. (I knew I was middle-aged the first time I looked at a sexy teenage girl and my first thought was, “How the hell could her parents have let her out of the house dressed like that?”)

Hector, those videos were kinda funny, the Germans trying to intimidate (the skull masks kinda cool) and the Bollywood — well I like listening to middle eastern and Indian music even if I have no idea what they are saying.
The singer in the last would be a little more appealing as a tough macho if he didn’t look so much like he works nights at a computer tech call line or as a salesman at Best Buy.
