Shall we now have a discussion about how calling someone “classy” is offensive?

The slur assumes women should always be polite and proper and know their place or else they’re not high class. And well, besides out fertility, beauty, and youth, all we have is our class. So we best maintain that, lest we be deemed sluts, whores, bitches, prudes, or shrill nags.

You can think I’m being a shrill nag when I criticize Jessica’s participation in animal slavery. You can think I have poor etiquette skills. But I’m not harassing anyone. I’m not breaking your comment policy rules. I’m not being offensive. I’m just bringing up a topic you don’t think is relevent.

Banning me doesn’t make buying a dog from a breeder the right thing to do. Banning me doesn’t prove Jessica doesn’t deserve my criticism. And attacking me with comments like “classy” is pretty fucked up. Which is obvious, since you eat meat.

Go ahead and ignore the connection between animal oppression and human oppression. But that doesn’t make it go away.

Also, Elaine, consider this a final warning: Bring up Jessica’s dog one more time and we’re banning you. Thanks.
