It’s Friday where I am, so the FRT is justified. By the time most of you read this, I’ll be on my long, long journey back to New York. I’ve been MIA lately because I spent the last few days in Paris with my best friend/NY roomie; I spent today frantically packing and then saying goodbye to the last few people from my program left in Hamburg. I’m excited to go back, sad about leaving, anxious to have to return to “real” life, and generally just feeling kind of mixed up and at a loss. I had my final beer, and now it’s time for a few hours of sleep before I haul my ass to the airport and back to the USA. Which means that I’m too tired and too lazy to find a good YouTube video. Hmmm…I should have been where you were then. I had something due on the 20th, and for some reason I thought the 20th was a Friday–maybe because I thought a deadline on a Friday made more sense. In any case, hours after the deadline on Thursday the 20th I realized that I had missed my chance. Another blunder to add to the list.
