That’s a yellow pepper ring on the table. She loves red peppers, but she’s kind of hit-or-miss with the yellow ones, and is just as likely to squirrel them away in her bed as actually eat them. This one became a toy.
And it’s hard to see, but she’s gotten a little patch of white on the right side of her muzzle. It just appeared within the past few weeks.
This despite me forbidding her to age. Ungrateful bitch.

I have one of Boris like that, but I don’t think we ever digitized it. It’s on our fridge.
I also have one of my then three-year-old niece looking about 16 and yet very stoned in an elf hat. It’s nice to have blackmail material on one’s relatives …. ;-)
How old is Junebug, zuzu? My puglet, Elizabeth, is 6 1/2 and starting the same greying muzzle thingy… how she has managed to age when she snoozes so much is a mystery.
She is somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 1/2 as well.
I know I shouldn’t be so freaked because after all, I’m not even 40 and I have way more gray hair than I’d like, but still. She’s just a puppy to me!
According to my vet, graying at the muzzle happens at virtually all ages, and isn’t a reliable indicator of age.
My dog ( a Humane Society Special, part border collie or australian shepherd, part about 47 others, shown here nosing her way into a picture I was trying to take of our other dog) started graying at age 2.
“Milk mouth” can occur at any age. But I really like Bruce’s dog’s Clark Gable mustache.

My dog got a grey muzzle at about 1 year old. Some breeds are just prone to it.
What breed or mix of breeds is she? Because she is seriously cute enough to almost make me want to get a dog and make my cats hate me forever!
