I wrote about another asshole judge who doesn’t quite get sexual assault and the news that it looks like the Australian government is going to appoint another man as Governor-General, when we’ve still never had a woman in the role.
I reposted a paper I wrote a couple years ago that debunks common myths about polyamory and polyamorous people via a series of vignettes. It’s crap writing but still worth reading, I hope.
Well, I’m harshing on Miss America: Reality Check this weekend. Don’t go here, if you are a big fan of the contest.
Reasons #1 and #2 re: why I’m childfree. There are a bunch more… I’ll cover those in future installments.
I implore Christopher Hitchens to please shut up.
And I note what’s become of the prosecutor from Lawrence v. Texas and his inability to take seriously his own exhortations to confine sex to hetero marriages.
On the parents suing a Maryland school district for actually trying to teach sex ed.
A more fluffy post about the social concept of “midlife crisis.”
here’s where i bitch about a local company offering prizes for employee weight loss
I have to say, evil_fizz, that was an excellent summation of the depth of the misogyny that’s being slung at Clinton.
–talking about the cost of the war being too high and never mention money
–shutting up ableism forever, I hope.
—My horrible, no good, rotten stinking day in which the cost of the war comes home to me in a personal way.
Here is Fried chicken tacos, my take on the mainstream media’s coverage of the 2008 Presidential Primaries.
I “unload on a right-winger who thinks that Democrats seek to “transfer wealth from those who are producers to those people who aspire to nothing more than getting as many government handouts as possible.” It was enjoyable stress relief.
On the Cambodian government banning an anti-genocide rally led by Mia Farrow and Dream for Darfur and its reasons for doing it.
My second novel Nikolai came out.
I havem’t had deep thoughts on politics or anything since my work week is hell and I’m fighting a tooth that broke during extraction.
Not explicitly feminist, but I build on my obsession with female authorship by live-blogging the Austen Season on PBS.
Some personal blogging. My feminism has been challenged by my break up!
OOoooh, shameless! Here’s a few knocks on Huckabee.
I took issue with the Iowa Governor preparing to sign a MLK Week proclamation — the day after he went on the record to discriminate against the state’s LGBT citizens.
Blog way too much.
and here’s my non-blog column on the political campaign.
On the Planned Parenthood blog I wrote a movie review of “Unborn in the USA” — a new documentary that gives a terrifying view of the “pro-life” movement
On my personal blog I wrote about my disgust at the comments on a you tube video that were talking about how “sexy” rape is
I continue to write with clarity and from experience about how I became a humorless, no-fun, anti-sex work feminist and why you should too. Truly I am shameless. Checkit.
I don’t blog, but I had to point out here why I hate Huffington Post.

This is an article inviting people to look at pictures of Carla Bruni on a beach and judge whether or not she “has a little Sarkozy in there.” Seriously, this sort of thing unhinges me. If I blogged about it, the result would probably land me in a mental institution or jail.
