There’s lots being written about repro rights today. As a shameless self-promoter, I’ll suggest Alternet’s Reproductive Justice and Gender special coverage section – I’ve been scouring the internets for some of the best commentary and news on repro justice, and it’ll be going up throughout the day (something new will be posted every hour or two, and blog posts will start up this afternoon).
There’s also Bush v. Choice, where Jessica is putting up all of the Blogging for Choice posts as the day goes on.
And finally, the Huffington Post is doing a great job at getting many of our pro-choice leaders to post commentary.
Enjoy!

I know we should all be discussing the anniversary of Roe, but I failed to see this story appear on any of my preferred blogs out there…and I think it is an important victory for all of us who value our rights and privacy to recognize.
Seems to me that women and men, more than ever, want abortion to be kept safe, legal and PRIVATE.

“As Abortion Rate Drops, Use of RU-486 Is on Rise”
A bit of good news if ever I read it – seems to me while clinicians may be declining in number, physician numbers are climbing who will prescribe RU-486 so people can terminate in the privacy and safety of their own homes – AKA out of the domestic terrorists’ reach.
While we may be saddened/enraged at the progress the pro-force rivals have made in their attempts to remove safe, legal medical care from women….it seems as if they cannot enter into every MD’s office and dictate as they would so very much desire.
So, I celebrate today and the 35 years of freedom Roe has provided…and keep hopeful that, in light of this story, safe, legal medical care will always be ours.
