   I have worked alongside three other capable women whose situations were similar to Lauren’s. Their solutions included: keep plugging along, learn a job skill with which to earn a decent living, and don’t be afraid to ask your parents for help/ a place to live while you’re learning the job skill.

   I just re-read this and it really is amazing. Puts things in perspective.

   John Edwards and his antics don’t deserve press when there are people like this who make life beautiful.
