Call them anti-choice! Or at least put “pro-life” in quotations to demonstrate the hypocrisy. I consider myself pro-choice, not anti-life.

*sigh* What bothers me about spewing abstience-till-marriage to these people is that it is aimed mainly at the wrong gender. I hear constantly in articles and television and even co-workers who fled from areas where having AIDS is normal that these programs put pressure on women to be abstinent and the men are almost totally ignored which is why they do get infected and then give it to their wives who could have been completely abstinent from day one.

That and like RHRC has stated it’s proven not to work.

Me and my dad got into a fight this past weekend about how he thinks women are at fault for getting knocked up in high school, and no one can trust the boys to protect themselves, so women need to take it all on them.

Why can’t we teach BOTH men and women to be more responsible? Telling me to not have sex didn’t work, but telling me to use a condom prevented me from ever getting an STI or pregnant!

Argh! I am angry at the stupid stupid narrow minded world today.

Yet another example of stubborn ideologues putting their beliefs before overwhelming evidence and true morals (i.e., not the “morals” of exclusion, hatred, bigotry).
