I have this video in my personal bookmarks and watch it every so often to keep myself sane and laughing. Molly Ivins, I miss you and thank whatever powers exist in the universe that we have these media mementos to brighten our days!
I miss her too. I sobbed to the cosmos for dispossessing us of her wit and tenacity too soon that cold day she passed. She could sure tell a joke. I used to devour her weekly column like it was hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream.
I really wish I could’ve hung out with Molly Ivins. She was totally my adopted feminist Texan grandma. (Even though she was only 4 years older than my mother.) What an awesome woman.

I miss Molly Ivans! She did her damndest to make up for what my home state wrought with (as she famously named him) Shrub. What a fantastic woman. I get sad every time I think of her being gone.
