I recently joined up with a discordian on a new blog, Blog Warfare (link is my name). My posts are informed by post-left anarchism, opposition to racism / misogyny / homophobia / transphobia / capitalism / imperialism / etc / etc. Not the typical dogmatic leftist garbage, though.
I posted about my new Project 222, in which I am donating one post monthly on charitable/non-profit activities on the 2nd of the month, donating 2% of my (pretty miniscule) blog-related income and will do 2 days a year of public service replete with blogospheric (and photographic) coverage. I am trying to promote this as a rather low-key, low-commitment approach to pitching a small amount back to the community at large, emphasis on small. Perhaps others will do likewise, or will consider doing their own better thing in this vein.
This month, it’s about KickStart, an organization that promotes appropriate (i.e. usable, cost-effective and profitable) irrigation and other technology for subsistence farmers in East Africa and elsewhere.
A few weeks ago, I helped Planned Parenthood of the Rochester/Syracuse Region start a blog about reproductive justice and sexual health issues. It’s called Sex. Justice. Change. and I’d love for you to check it out!
Okay, I don’t know why the link isn’t working. Let’s try that again. (Feel free to correct the link and delete this.)
I have an update on New Orleans from my most recent visit (I’m here now). Since Katrina, I travel here frequently for disaster recovery work, but it’s been 6 months since my last trip.
Cara, may many other affiliates follow. Great start.
I’ve been blogging about Barack Obama’s exegetical skills and penises, though not in the same post.
Fixed it for you, Cara.

Wondering if sexism still exists in the entertainment industry?
What is it good for? Answer: absolutely nothing.

I’m sure you readers aren’t avoiders.
Enjoy!
My Harvard feminist group blog has a piece on anorexia myths, reflections on homophobia in black communities, and an ode to trans-friendly vaginas.
We’re in the process of transfering from an old site, and we’d love some new faces to join us!
I actually just wrote something earlier about one of my fears as a mom-to-be – an issue that’s come up specifically around race that I’m not sure how to handle. I’d really appreciate the advice/sympathy/ehugs of other parents :p
I haven’t written anything good lately, but my friend Erin told Roseanne Barr to STFU.
as a native american woman i am pissed off at David Vitter as his darling amendment…
but also in my mourning for Gary Gygax, i have asked my readers to see what their own alignment is…and i was not surprised to find out that i am “chaotic neutral”, or “true chaos”…lots of fun…
I wrote about a recent New York Times article on affluent tourists “slumming” in impoverished third world cities:
Let’s try that again.
I wrote two posts about how excited and then disappointed i was regarding a local Guerrilla Girls performance.
The Stripper and the Cosmic Titty, about the cosmic titty archetype. My friend Davka (the genius behind the archetype) also blogged about the cosmic titty. Then a pittsburgh film maker/poet wrote a poem linking the cosmic titty archetype, psychic vampires, and colonization.
My blog about invisible disabilities (and visible ones, of course) and those of us living with them.
My website on all things disability, and especially invisible disabilities.
