On what planet is McCain a moderate? He voted for torture. He has a ZERO rating from Planned Parenthood (Obama has a 100 percent rating, as does Clinton). He has explicitly said that he will appoint conservative judges like John Roberts. He votes with the Republican Party 83% of the time. He does have some vague sense that global warming is bad, but he’s not going to go against his corporate masters and actually do anything about it.

McCain is NOT a moderate by any stretch of the imagination. Please stop lying.

Don Imus was justly fired over racist comments and Barack himself wrote a letter to NBC about this. but I heard not a sound from him while the Hillary-bashing wagon was going by him in full view! Of course he was sole benefactor. But he gave a speech on Race and played hte race-bait card throughout. No one would touch him–there are laws against Racist commentary and you can lose your job.

Back in 2005 in Bahgdad, Sen. McCain was asked about Hillary’s possible presidential ambitions and this is whtat he said: “I have no doubt Sen. Clinton would make a great president” he responded to Tim Russert. He has respect and that’s something that Obam has not shown to HRC or to women in general!

Also: legal thuggery???? You’re perfectly fine saying that the phrase “periodically moody” is absolutely without a doubt misogynistic, but you’re fine referring to a black politician as engaging in “legal thuggery?” Hmm.

As a black woman, a feminist, a first generation American, and as a human being, I think that such imagery, with its explicit hyper-sexualization of a black woman and simultaneous exploitation of the painful history of racial terrorism against blacks in the US (not to mention the reminder of the continued dual subjugation of a black woman as a woman and as a black person juxtaposed with the gender and racial privilege of white men), is at best evidence of even the so-called-left’s poor understanding of what black women, including those who are well-educated and upstanding citizens and provide a beautiful example for ALL women, have to overcome on a daily basis.

I hope that we as feminists, united for a common cause, will continue to draw attention to such attacks on Michelle as a woman, and rally behind her with our support and our voice.
