It’s Renee again from womanist musings and Feminocracy. I am finishing off my stint guest blogging for the summer. For those that missed me the last time around, I write a womanist/feminist blog that daily focuses on what I like to call bodies that matter. It is the sole purpose of womanist musings to give voice to bodies that society has decided are less than. Much of my work takes an intersectional approach that largely deals with race, class, gender, sexuality and recently ability.
It is my hope that we can engage in some interesting conversations over the next week as we begin to unpack our privileges and learn to view the world through the eyes of the ‘other’, It is my firm belief that all bodies matter and with each piece that I write, it is always my intent to raise awareness. Okay enough talking about me. Damn how I hate intros.
