As always, we’re working on ways to improve Feministe and connect with readers. We’ve been on Facebook for a while, and you can join the Feministe group here. There are some good discussion board topics, including one just posted by Ms. Lauren asking you all what you’d like to see on the site.
We’re also newly on Twitter, so check us out and follow us if you’re interested.
We’re working on adding some other elements to the site — book reviews, for example, are on the table — but we want to hear from you: What do you want to see on Feministe? How can we better connect with you off-blog? What kind of social networking tools do you use the most?

this may just be me, because i HATE myspace, and don’t like facebook… i use LJ. and LJ communities are easy. so maybe an LJ community?
I would be totally up for an LJ community. Some enterprising LJ users have already snatched the Feministe name to get an RSS feed to read over there (which is a compliment!), but I’m sure you could get the username lj_feministe or something along those lines. I don’t know if you’d want to have other, non-Feministe writers maintain it or what, but I feel like it’d be a great place for conversation because you can directly reply to certain comments and the moderator(s) have the power to freeze or delete threads. It can also be made “friends only,” meaning that only members of the community could see it, and you also have the ability to decide who can join the community and who can’t. Finally, there are generally never spam comments.
/lj selling :)
DUDE! This logo is super cool. Do you make T-shirts with it?
Even better, I’d love to have a baby-onesie with it for my little daughter. Do you have a Cafepress store or something like that?
