… “Subtly plays on”? That’s about a subtle as a sledgehammer!

If, God forbid, anything should happen to Obama, these people will have blood on their hands. I don’t know how they sleep at night.

this devolution into blatant racism makes me think of how Nice Guys ™ react when they’re not getting what they want: it gets ugly, quickly. apparently the “but -i’m- not a racist!” crowd is the same way.

Very interesting. I live in VA, neither of the 2 areas of contention mind you (somewhere in between, Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin were just here) but I wonder if I’ll get one. Oh wait, I’m a registered Dem. Darn.

I’m voting for Obama. But one thing that pisses me off is why Obama supporters don’t say “There’s nothing wrong with being a Muslim or an Arab.” or “I would vote for a Muslim or an Arab.” Instead, all I here is “BUT HE’S NOT MUSLIM!!! THOSE LIARS!” Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner, had a good recent post about this in The Washington Post, and I think it needs more attention. THe current take on the situation makes it appear that both sides are not supporting Muslim-Americans.
