It’s Friday, so that means it’s time for the FRT. Set your MP3 player to shuffle and post yours in the comments. And if you want more great tunes tonight, come by the AuH2O show.

Dang – what is that song and artist from the first video???
That Santogold album is my favorite work music right now. The whole album is about her going back to NY to get her shit together and make music. It’s totally positive and motivating. I’ve got her, Sam Sparrow, Unklejam, and Estelle on heavy rotation.
1. Estelle – American Boy (instrumental)
2. Quad City DJs – Space Jam Theme Song
3. Crystal Castles – 1983
4. Kings of Leon – Taper Jean Girl
5. The Coasters – Poison Ivy
6. Carolina Liar – Last Night
7. Jack Hammer – What Greater Love
8. Estelle – I Wanna Love You
9. Sonido Lasser Drakar – Tonight But No More
10. Scienz of Life – Metaphysics
The artist is Santogold, and the song is L.E.S. Artistes. She’s rad, and her album is amazing — highly recommended.

P.S. That Santogold video is really really intense and violent. It was really surprizing how even though the props were unrealistic, how the violence was very realistic and startling.
I was listening to my iPod while gardening. Let’s see if I can remember what came up.
