If you haven’t read this Judith Warner column yet, go do it now. It’s one of the best post-election columns I’ve read so far. I think her conclusion is ultimately wrong, but it’s a good read nonetheless.

I’m not ready to create a statue of Obama until I actually see what he is able to achieve over the next 4 years. If he is able to push the Progressive agenda successfully, then I’ll be first to join in the praise, but otherwise I am taking a wait and see approach. Getting elected, while a major hurdle, is only the very beginning. The large majority of the work is in the future, not behind us.
