Tony, I think the issue over the license was that he had made the comment to Obama about wanting to buy the business (which if I’m not mistaken wasn’t for sale, didn’t generate the revenue he claimed, and that he didn’t really seem to want to or have the means to buy it, but I digress…) and that he could not have been a contractor without first obtaining a license, as you correctly pointed out, which was something he had given no indication of doing.

You are WRONG on the license thing just like Olbermann keeps repeating this stupid ass and wrong line.

MOST plumbers do NOT have licenses. You only need a license to be a plumbing CONTRACTOR. To be an hourly plumber does not require a license. Most plumbers work for contractors and do not have a license. Thus “practicing without a license” is absolutely meaningless and does not make him dishonest.

Joe the plumber is a moron, but it’s time to get rid of that stupid “license” line of attack.

his website claims that 10’s of 1,000s have expressed interest in joining “this movement”. this movement? um…i’m a little creeped out by that. sure, i know JTP is only out to make a buck while he has a chance. i mean, here’s a guy with a limited i.q. and knowledge – and people of lesser i.q.s and knowledge are listening to him, and paying to do so. (i base my assessment of his i.q./knowledge on the many times he’d state something ludicrous, like obama being socialist, and when pressed to give proof he’d fall back on the ignorant man’s cover for not knowing/understanding much: “hey, that’s just my opinion, think for yourself”)
and where the hell has JTP been the past 8 years, as the bush administration has spent billions destroying another country, and justifying this war with lies and manipulations? what about the patriot act, JTP? oh yeah, i suppose the title is enough to stop jackasses like joe from questioning what exactly the patriot act is.
i have a personal disgust towards JTP. i was born and raised in toledo, ohio. joe looks like, acts like, sounds like, and oozes the personality of every asshole who threatened me bodily harm in the late 80’s because i had the nerve, as a female, to shave my head. now, i don’t know JTP personally(thank god), but i swear his entire aura is of those “morans” who once made my day to day life miserable.
