A few timbits* I’ve been sitting on for too long already…
Planned Parenthood has come out with their annual report.
The Pro-Choice Public Education Project also has a new report out: “On Our Terms: Young Women of Color, Reproductive Justice and Activism”
Change.org is looking for more traffic on their women’s rights page – the more traffic and participation they get on that page, the more they can push it with the Obama transition folks.
The National Women’s Law Center has a tax credit outreach program with tools and information to make sure you get all the credits or refunds you’re due come tax season. Hells yeah. Child care is stupid expensive in DC, if you can find it at all, and mama here needs all the help she can get.
NARAL Pro-Choice America is running a t-shirt design contest around their free.will.power campaign. Check ‘em out and vote for your favorite.
Finally, you’ve probably already noticed in your inbox that every group and organization under the sun is coming out with an end-of-year fundraising ask. I know money’s tight for everyone, but you know, give if you can. (Don’t forget that some donations, even to the big groups, are tax-deductible.) Change may be a-comin’, but it’s not here yet, and our work is far from finished.

Having grown up 20 minutes from the Canadian border, Timbits were a feature of my youth. Tim Horton’s is a must-visit every time I go to Canada.
Timbits!
I’m actually from Michigan, not Canada, but plenty of the Canadian-ness has leaked down. I was well-versed in Tim Horton’s before I’d ever even heard of Dunkin’ Donuts. Off-topic, I know, but I was excited.
