    I’m sure it’s a fake; those statements aren’t even trying to mask their offensiveness, which would be a really fucking stupid thing to do at the presidential inauguration even for such a horrifically ignorant man as I believe Rick Warren to be.

    But it is essentially cutting and pasting comments that Warren has made over the years with regards to abortion as a holocaust, wifely submission, homosexuality being as bad as incest, etc.

    Yeah. As Victoria says, it’s basically saying EXACTLY what Warren has said in the past. That’s why it’s entertaining — no, it’s not what he’s going to say at the inauguration, but it is a pretty accurate summary of what he believes.

    Except for the part about homosexuals being “evolutionarily unfit.” I doubt Warren comprehends evolution.

    Pretty funny!

    As one who changed his affiliation from a Christine Todd Whitman styled, pro-choice Republican to Independent because of the imbeciles in the religious right, the funnier part of Warren and the Obama cabinet has been watching people realize that Obama is simply another politician.

    I’m shocked, just shocked that Obama would pander to the religious crowd:)
