Oh man. This week really is a good one, from beginning to end. Seriously. This is why Sarah Haskins is my hero.
In defense of the sanctimonious women's studies set.

Brilliant. I especially loved “yep, that one’s definitely for using on your face“, re: Vanessa Hudgens’ vibrating cleanser.
Oh, yes.
I love the calling out of the fake science. Especially the voiceover lady who reads the chemical abbreviation as an acronym. Because you know that’s how the dermatological in-crowd says it.
“If it weren’t for science, we’d just be clean.”
“Face Amish”
I love Sarah Haskins.
Every single Target Women with Sarah Haskins gets at least one good belly laugh from me. Love, love, love her.
That was awesome. “But-can-a-robot-lady-learn-to-LOVE?”
I love the Target Women-Weddings episode the best but this one was a close second.
“It goes through the epidermis, the dermis, and 7 nonexistent layers, down to the marbles.”
HAH!
Brilliant.
For me, this is the best one by far! Every single line was quotable!
this is my first time watching Sarah Haskins…and it’s definitely not my last! i loved all the fake science! all those commercials are so silly…embrace your age! there used to be something called ‘wisdom’ and isn’t 40 the new 20??….or something like that.
i dont usually comment, but after reading through so much info i had to say thanks
I really don’t think its science you aught to be upset with here its corporations. If it weren’t for science a lot of us wouldn’t even be here. We would have died long ago from some infection or other.
Uh, no one said a damn word about science, Chip. They talked about “science.”
Though I certainly do think that some scientists deserve part of the blame for turning science into “science.” But yes, mainly it’s the corporations. Which was precisely the joke.
