Introspection and self-criticism is what's allowed feminism to develop as it has ... it's not a step forward to advance the status of white women at the expense of unconsciously - yet preventably - marginalizing women & men of color. To avoid this discussion is to devitalize the movement. Personally, I find, as difficult as it can be, this process to be satisfying and even stimulating ... and I hope my fellow white feminists discover the same! Introspection and self-criticism is what’s allowed feminism to develop as it has … it’s not a step forward to advance the status of white women at the expense of unconsciously – yet preventably – marginalizing women & men of color. To avoid this discussion is to devitalize the movement.
