By its bizarre and highly subjective selection of examples of feminists supposedly bullying supposedly ‘feminine’ women over their supposed ignorance of supposed patriarchal concepts, the section clearly brands feminists as being one of the privileged groups who are supposedly engaging in all this derailing behaviour. Given the misrepresentation, hostility, abuse, disdain, harrassment and, yes, marginalisation that feminists are subjected to on a regular basis, this is incredibly unjust.

There is a strong mindset out there among feminism’s sworn (i.e. privileged) enemies that feminists despise any woman who does not fit some kind of mythical textbook version of feminism. Added to that is the mindset that feminists have come to control the media, the government, education, the divorce courts, and all forms of gender debate etc, and thus ‘marginalise’ all men. When I started to read this essay, I thought that the author was going to expose these blatant and bullying falsehoods for the supreme derailing tactic they really are. Unfortunately, the essay simply reinforced them.
