I believe it’s Kaling.
Love!!
I want to be her friend!
Fun fashion items, but pretty transphobic. Is it necessary to praise bright red lipstick by saying it “won’t make you look like a tranny”? Add in the rest of the times she refers to “trannies” and I think there’s better fashion blogs out there.
Ugh. Of course I didn’t see that, I’ve only read a few posts. Is anything happiness-worthy today?
Wilco is letting fans stream their entire new album on their website. That made me happy, at least.
Yeah the use of trannie is just as bad as no homo. Two steps forward, three steps back!! On that note Gwen Araujo’s murderers did NOT win their appeal to overturn their conviction. It’s not a self-promo say so I won’t link to my post, but it’s up if anyone wants to click over there.
Sorry, Jill, I didn’t mean to be a huge wet blanket.
Here’s a cute dog picture which cheered me up.
Not your fault, Liz, I’m just disappointed with what I thought was a fun and irreverent blog. But thanks for the cute puppy picture!
this is my new favorite fashion/lifestyle blog (& I don’t ever read fashion blogs so that’s saying a lot!): http://galadarling.com/ it’s super pink & sparkly if you’re into that. which i maybe am.
Oh yay, just when I was looking for a guide to middle class consumerism. Thank you.
I usually find something interesting to coo over at Oohsome, which concentrates on handicrafts instead of corporate stuff. See, for example, this steampunk hair pin, or this “Jurassic amber” soap.
