You know, initially Yes But Still for the utter lack of knowledge about immigration (although throwing that empathetic bit in there was classic) but after reading the entry and the comment of ANONYMAN, I have to go with that. Here’s a human that doesn’t understand sarcasm in the least. Eesh!

And I find it stupid that a lot of you counter his arguement by supporting it.

The misspelling of argument just makes this so, so precious.

Hopefully, you don’t still wear knickers.

at what point was she wearing knickers?

    ANONYMAN, for “prejustice”.

I’m impressed. They both effectively convey drunken rambling.

I’m with Leah. Before justice, there was prejustice. And Anonyman sounds like a superhero.

    YBS, for the knickers.

YBS ftw, for the knickers comment. Why does he hate knickers so?

I liked Yes But Still’s challenge for us to test hir hypothesis with hir brilliant little experiment: “Go get on welfare and have to go to a county hospital when you are sick. There will be a long line…and there is a good chance you will be the one of the few valid US American citizens.”

Right. It’s clear zie has already done this, and speaks from the certainty of experience. Not.

To me, this is the toughest round yet. The knicker line was kinda funny, but I gotta go with anonyman. How did anonyman know that we are so against prejustice… does that mean “that which was before justice”?

Yes but Still, for recognizing the truth but choosing the stupid, again and again.

Yes But Still, only so we can put him out of his interwebs misery and I can reclaim my monicker. Grumble.

Yes But Still, for the underwear-related non-sequitor.

I, too, was won over by the knickers. It’s such a great punchline in that it lacks no teeth whatsoever.

And anyway, I do wear knickers and so far the world hasn’t come to an end :).

I went with YBS for the knickers comment, but they both seem pretty anticlimactic after the full-throttle batshit insanity of Seven in the previous round.

These have all been so hard to decide! The past few… both have been so equally AWFUL. It’s almost impossible to decide.

I was sorely tempted by “prejustice” from ANONYMAN, but the random “knickers” comment at the end of YBS’s piece swung the vote for me.

Knickers for the win. But this one was close.

“Prejustice.” Yay for sounding it out!

    rachel 6.13.2009 at 11:48 pm |

    yes but still…

because what we did was fine….coming over here and wiping out the people who lived here with disease and genocide. but those people coming here to work and support our economy…well, that’s not something to be done in 2009!

Cornpone Down Under 6.14.2009 at 12:54 am |

I’m torn. “Prejustice” vs. “sanitization”. I think I’ll have to go with YBS, for pointing out that the world today–the whole world!–is now in the year 2009. That’s helpful, isn’t it?

So tough… but in the end ANONYMAN sounded sort of drunk, and to me, drunkenly trolling a feminist blog is probably the height of vague, fence-sitting douchedom.

    Keyboard crusader, for sure.

anonyman for his incredible super power to MAKE UP WORDS

    AutumnWytch 6.16.2009 at 2:11 pm |

Well, I have to go with Anonyman because I spit out my Fresca when I saw this:

“I’m not agreeing or disagreeing but you a lot of you bash this guy for being so prejustice and stuff”

I relish in the 1600s–doesn’t everyone? YBS gets my knickery vote.
