I find the image of a herd of screaming fetuses really funny (“herd” being the past-tense of “here”, of course). It’s probably because I’m an evil feminist babyhater. Jeremy wins my vote for managing to squish hatred of so many groups into one (albeit large) comment, his lack of knowledge as to how the world really works, and his inability to pass a grade three spelling test.

So I should go back to college and take more philosophy to learn about abortion? Funny. I thought the developmental biology course was much more helpful on that score. The forty page paper on the meaning of the word “the” wasn’t all that informative about pregnancy, somehow.

I think my favorite part was when Jeremy told me that if I was raped I had no choice but to keep the baby, because even though it’s traumatic and I might be a young child of 12 or 13 (I’m aware that women get raped at every age I’m just picking the most dramatic example possible to prove a point) and the rapist could be a family member which means the baby that came out of it could be horribly deformed and have genetic problems and physically hurt me because I’m 12 and my body is not ready to have a baby, I should keep it. But if I can’t AFFORD to keep it, well clearly that’s when it becomes my fault. Because if I’m poor, it’s because I’m stupid, not 12, and my uber christian family is disowning me for being pregnant and they don’t believe me when I say I was raped.

But I’m not allowed to get an abortion. Because he can HEAR THE BABY SCREAMING.
