uccelina–It was worse. In the name of “balance” (I suppose), they slimed the abortion-doctor victim relentlessly, making him a murderer who once executed a baby that had been born alive. They put on a witness to talk about how bearing her doomed baby and letting it die in her arms left her feeling “clean” (unlike those dirty women who abort). They made the Linus Roache character anti-abortion, to the point where he was arguing with Sam Waterson that the killer was like John Brown.

It was absolutely disgusting. The only reason I watched all the way through was to see if they would have the nerve to make the jury acquit the killer (no).

After reading this article I thought I was going to lose my morning coffee. I’m still shaken over Dr. Tiller’s murder. Consider a letter to eBay sent.

And, BTW, if they don’t stop the auctions, I’m closing my account there. If eBay does let them go on, it means they’re not only glorifying terrorism, but profiting off it, too.

According to the news article you linked to, the eBay auctions won’t launch until 1st November.

It is impossible to protest any item being auctioned on eBay until it’s up the site with a number – there’s literally no way to protest its being listed until it is actually listed.

I’m surprised that pro-lifers are trying to raise money to defend Doctor Tiller’s murderer, since my understanding is that they were claiming that the people who murder doctors and other clinic staff / volunteers aren’t really pro-lifers…

I’m surprised they’re paying for his defense at all. It’d be so convenient for them to have a martyr for their cause. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the pro-choice movement had to save him?

Perhaps I’m overanalyzing this, but paying for his defense seems to put the anti-choice movement in a very odd position. Nobody seems to dispute that Roeder pulled the trigger, and the only possible defense I can conceive of is temporary insanity. So, the anti-choice movement is going to pay a lawyer and doctors to explain that shooting Tiller was wrong, but Roeder was so demented he couldn’t distinguish between right and wrong?
