They're Coming To Get You, Barbara

Thanks to the blog troubles I’m a bit late in posting this, but do check out the film reviews of several popular horror movies of interest to feminists at Feminist Themes, including reviews of Carrie, Teeth, Rosemary’s Baby, and Misery.

Me? I’ve been working on a comprehensive feminist review of The Craft for like four years, but because I only want to review the first half of the movie what’s the point?

The point is, LAUREN, your public demands it. Come on, we all know the second half of it was crappy (crappier?). A review of the first half is fine.

Hey, thanks for linking me! I’m glad you enjoyed the reviews – I had a great time watching with a critical eye.

It makes me sad that it took me the second time around to catch the reference in the post title.

@P.T. Smith: Ha! I think it to myself all the time. THEY’RE COMING TO GET YOU, LAUREN.

    @ Lauren

I more often find myself wishing they were coming to get me. Zombies are about the only emergency of any sort that I am prepared for. I am starting to develop a fear of a flood apocalpyse though.
