I’ll play, but I don’t have much music on this computer and most of it is made by people with the last name “Wainwright” (and my iPod isn’t with me at the moment). I had to cheat a little and shuffle twice:

    3. Keep on Livin’ – Le Tigre
    4. Marry Me – Emilie Autumn

norbizness: Having taken the ball from Lauren at my old place six years ago (in internet terms, 2 billion years)

We’re like internet dinosaurs — what the hell?

    1) Those Poor Bastards – Evil on my Mind
    2) Guns and Roses – Live and Let Die (yesssssss)
    3) PJ Harvey – England (yessssssssx2)
    4) Beach House – Heart of Chambers
    5) The Besnard Lakes – Devastation
    6) Frida Hyvonen – N.Y.
All of Frida’s music is highly recommended for people interested in female voices/perspectives in current music.
    7) Rafter – Only You
I hate this album and don’t know how I got it or why it’s on my playlist.
    8) The Fall – Cruiser’s Creek
    9) Chad VanGaalen – I Miss You Like I Miss You
    10) Wu-Tang Clan – Protect Ya Neck (yessssssssx3)

Bonus thing I’m listening to: Are ya’ll listening to the newest PJ Harvey album “Let England Shake”? It’s her best and most cohesive album in years, and it’s about the simultaneous pastoral and colonial histories present of the English landscape and empire. It’s fucking gorgeous.

    @ Lauren :
I love Let England Shake ! It’s gorgeous ( I love the autoharp, strangely enough), and I really like the breadth of the lyrics, this time around.

    Anyway, Top Ten :
    1- Helicopter, Deerhunter
    2- Ta Douleur, Camille
    3- Let’s Call it Love, Sleater-Kinney
    4- Via Chicago, Wilco
5- The Last Living Rose, PJ Harvey
    6- Shoreline, Broken Social Scene
7- Limit to Your Love, James Blake (Feist Cover)
8- Off With Your Head, Sleater-Kinney
9- Head Like A Hole, Nine Inch Nails
10- Marcia Baila, Les Rita Mitsouko

Whoo ! We have indie cliches, randome french songs, and Sleater-Kinney.

Apparently my I-River is basically electro bangers.

Hold up, you have an I-River? Me too! The only other person I know with one is my dad.

(and for the record, mine is basically indie/antifolk/rock n’ roll. I still think our I-Rivers would get on though)
